925 sterling silver proofs with weights of 31.1 grams (approximately 1 troy ounces). Contains exactly 28.77 grams of pure silver. They were typically produced for special "FIRST DAY COVER" Commemorative envelopes with pairing the 31 gram medals with cancelled 1974 and 1975 FIRST AND SECOND CONTINENTAL CONGRESS STAMPS. One cachet had some residue on the outside and inside blue covering noted. The second one had some staining on one corner of the information sheet noted.
