This is the 1970 Solid Sterling Silver 925 Christmas Collector Plate by Norman Rockwell. This Limited Edition "Bringing Home the Tree" is the very first Annual plate in the Christmas series. In Perfect condition and with Certificate of Authenticity dated on September 21, 1970. Plate measures 8 in diameter and weighs exactly 185 g.
The front of the plate shows a father with the Christmas tree the son with an ax and dog walking in the snow with a freshly chopped Christmas tree. This plate has never been cleaned. The back of the plate is stamped Franklin Mint, Sterling, Limited Edition. Norman Rockwell "Bringing Home The Tree" Plate. The first annual Franklin Mint Christmas plate.
