Very limited edition of The Franklin Mint's First Easter Plate, "The Resurrection" created in 1973, especially for the Frankllin Mint, by the well known American sculptor and designer Evangelos Frudakis. It is solid sterling silver with 24 karat gold electroplate. It bears a relief sculpture of Christ's emergence from the tomb on Easter Sunday, conveying the promise of universal redemption and resurrection It is in its original white leatherbound presentation box, has never been out of the box or on view. Perfect condition with the Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Franklin Mint March 23, 1973 outer box cardboard split on two corners.
