Crated by Sascha Brastoff in solid sterling silver embellished with pure 24 karat gold expressively for the Franklin Mint Silver Circus Collection in 1977. Although the pieces in this collection are not marked "Sterling, " it is common knowledge that all six pieces in the Silver Circus Collection are solid sterling silver and that information can be found anywhere on the Internet with a general search. However, you can read the book, "Collector's Encyclopedia of Sascha Brastoff: Identification & Values by Steve Conti, " which discusses all this on page 113, and I have included a photo from page 235 in that book that also verifies all this.
