Franklin Mint #JR67 1907 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, SIMPLY STUNNING, GORGEOUS!!!! Franklin Mint Precision Models were made by the Franklin Mint, originally a private mint founded by Joseph Segel in 1964 in Wawa, Pennsylvania. In the following years, Franklin Mint produced more than 600 different issues of motorcycles, trucks and tractors besides automobiles. For an early vintage model, this one has a surprising amount of fine detail-so necessary on any early automobile scale model. The molded soft-plastic seats have a leather-like look and feel to them.

The lids on three of the running board toolboxes hinge open. The firewall is done in aluminum metal and the instrument panel has much in the way of detail. All three passenger compartment doors hinge open. The mounting straps on the spare tire are nicely done.

There is lots of fine detailing everywhere you look-right down to an engine crank that turns. In spite of the improvements made to die cast models over the years, this is nonetheless a very presentable model indeed. I will be listing literally HUNDREDS of Franklin Mint Models over the course of the next year. All my models are carefully wrapped and packed to insure they arrive in correct condition.
