FULL SET OF 37 FRANKLIN MINT STERLING SILVER PRESIDENTIAL PLATES With BOXES

  

I have a complete set of 37 Franklin Mint presidential collector plates. This seriess from George Washington to Gerald Ford. The plates are approximately 8 in diameter.

Each box measures about 10.25" by 10.25" by 1.75. The serial numbers of all plates match (2197). All plates but one (Buchanan) have a Certificate of Authenticity. These plates are sterling silver with 24k gold images of the presidents. All of the plates appear to be in good condition.

All boxes but two (Lincoln & Harrison) have good binding edges and lettering. Due to poor storage practices over the years, several of the boxes have issues on the non-binding edges of the boxes.

The front and rear cover of boxes except Lincoln are in good to very good condition. The Lincoln box is in extremely rough condition. The boxes smell a bit musty. Please see the pictures for a better idea of the condition of the boxes. Below is a list of the plates and the condition of each box.

I have attempted to give a decent representation of the condition of each box. Please contact me if you need additional info. These plates are bulky and heavy. Print on binding edge nearly worn off. Corners of box have been chewed on by something.

No major issues with the box. Minor flaws on the box. Flaws on one or more sides/edges of the box.

Significant flaws on one or more sides/edges of the box. Major flaws on all sides/edges of the box.
