1973 Sterling Silver "Norman Rockwell's Fondest Memories" BY the Franklin Mint. These limited edition animated sterling silver ingot proofs were made by the Franklin Mint exclusively for the members of the Franklin Mint Collectors Society. Each bar features brushed raised reliefs of Norman Rockwell's Fondest Memories.

The artist's signature is at the bottom of every silver bar. They feature ten different scenes (left to right): The Checker Game, The Knitting Lesson, Fun on the Hill, The Patient, The Barber, Holiday Dinner, The First Date, The Big Parade, Playing Hooky, Day Off.

Each ingot weighs approximately 3 troy oz. There are several hallmarks in the set: WS, Checkmark with an M, JF, RB with an underline, bent up arrow, JHD, narrow oval with a perpendicular line, two half squares side by side. The set with framed case measures approximately 13 3/4" wide, 15 1/4" high. Each bar measures approximately 2 1/2" wide, 2" high.
