"Project Apollo" Franklin Mint Set of Twenty Sterling Silver Medals Made with Apollo 13 Flown Metal. Issued in December 1970, these twenty silver medals of 31mm each trace the steps of a successful moon landing mission from "Left-Off to the Moon" and "Second Stage Ignition" to "Splash-Down" and Recovery. These are all presented in a custom 9" x 12" framable plaque. The set is consigned and was received as shown. Noted as shown on the cover is that indicating that they do contain flown metal. Original portfolio included with various nicks and scrapes. The Original cover while overall is in they are signs of some sign of wear however the overall condition is good and the Plastic inner part has signs of wear due to the age of this set.
