Proof set of 50 Official Mayors Medals. 50 medals, 24kt gold on sterling silver.

Paperwork reads "each medal contains 500 grains of sterling silver so the entire collection weighs in at 25,000 grains". Certificate of Authenticity (COA) dated 1971. Walnut case has minor rubs. Plastic dust cover has minor smudges/rubs.

Red felt pad has a little lint/dust on it. Please check pictures as a guide to condition. Been sitting boxed on a basement shelf for over 30 years. We will be listing several Franklin sets and other coins this week from this local estate.
