First Release 1973 Franklin Mint Sterling Silver Plate The Resurrection of Jesus

  
Gorgeous like new sterling silver and yellow gold plate from the Franklin Mint, released for Easter in 1973. Was the very first Easter plate released by the Franklin Mint.

Made of solid sterling silver with 24k yellow gold plating. Resurrected Jesus Christ adorns the center. It has never been displayed, includes all the original paperwork, the original display sleeve and the original box. Paperwork includes the numbered limited edition letter, a brochure about the plate's creator Evangelos Frudakis, and a Certificate of Authenticity. "The Resurrection" is an original work Frudakis created expressly for the first Annual Franklin Mint Easter Plate in 1973.

The celebrated sculptor's first collector's plate is a superb illustration of the artist's classical style. On the reverse side of the plate is a plaque with the edition name and the year and serial number.

Artist signature is on the front of the plate. Weight of the plate is 305 grams. Plate and paperwork are in near mint condition.
