This piece is a beautiful, 100% original vintage maritime piece from 1978. The Endeavour Bark Golden Silhouette, produced by the Franklin Mint on behalf of the Royal Geographical Society of London. It's a rare piece made of pure 24-carat gold plating permanently bonded to a solid sterling silver background sheet. The Artwork: The gold-on-silver silhouette is in beautiful shape, locked away safely from dust and air.

The Frame: It is housed in its original 1970s vintage gold-flecked wooden frame. The frame shows some normal, light vintage wear from age but is completely sturdy and looks fantastic on display. Authenticity: On the backing is the original white paper information and cleaning instruction sticker is still perfectly intact on the back, displaying the official limited edition "FM 78" code.
