Franklin Mint made these in 1973 for the White House Historical Association. The set is comprised of 36 solid sterling silver. 925 proof medals, each weighing 600 grains (1.25 ounces each). The total silver weight is 45 ounces of sterling silver.

Each proof medal is stored in a lucite capsule, as shown. This is a beautiful set and is listed for sale at less than the current melt value in silver. There are three separate frames, each with 12 medals, all stored in the massive binder (last picture).

Total number of medals = 36 (not counting the membership coin/medal, which is shown in picture 5 and is included for free). Composition of the medals (the 36 medals) = solid sterling silver.
