1971 Franklin Mint Heirloom 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments 925 Sterling Silver

  

Vintage 1971 or 1972 Franklin Mint "Twelve Days of Christmas" Heirloom Edition In Sterling Silver. Included are 12 Twelve Days of Christmas Ornaments with 925 Sterling Silver Coins encased in Plastic depicting each Day & also a Vinyl Clad Book with Latch to store the Ornaments in.

13 3/8" tall x 11 1/4" wide x 1 7/8 deep, each Ornament is approx. 5 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide x 5/8 deep. The Coin is 1 1/2" round x 1/8" thick. The Plastic of the Ornaments have surface scratches, the Fifth Ornament has a discoloration spot & the Sixth Ornament has damage around the edges of the backside of Coin (unsure what caused that - maybe water), in the Photo's the damage to the Coins is exaggerated so you can clearly see it. The Book has a velvety plastic to hold the Ornaments & it is cracked (4 area's), torn & soiled in along the exposed edges.
