The Norman Rockwell Spirit of Scouting Sterling Silver Limited Edition Proof Medals are uncirculated medals composed of sterling silver (0.925 fineness). Issued in 1972 by The Franklin Mint, this 12 medal/coin set commemorates the Boy Scout Law: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent. Each medal is made of solid sterling silver in proof condition and stored in hard plastic coin holders in a beautiful commemorative frame display (approximately 13.5" x 10.5").

The weight of the coins is 9.5 Troy Ounces. According to what I could find online about these coins, they were sculptured by Richard Baldwin. No paperwork comes with it.

My parents gave me this set in 1972 when I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Unfortunately, I don't have any children or grandchildren who have pursued Scouting to pass it on. It is a beautiful set of coins and in great condition.
