Franklin mint proof coin sets History of American Revolution. This is a very nice uncirculated and proof set of medals, produced by the Franklin Mint, and packaged in a bookshelf format. There are fifty of the most important events starting with James Otis' speech in 1761 on No Taxation without Representation, and encompassing all of the major events from the Boston Massacre, to the Tea Party, Bunker Hill, the Declaration of Independence, through to the Surrender at Yorktown. The medals are solid silver, and extremely well designed and struck as proof quality. All of the medals are in FDC mint state, and a few show highly desirable attractive tones of irridescent toning.
