Catholic Franklin Mint Sterling Silver APOSTLE SPOONS in Case withHistory Story

  
There is a story about these spoons I'll add at bottom of description, if you are interested. This Franklin Mint collectors set includes 13 sterling silver spoons in case. Twelve Apostle spoons & one master spoon portraying Jesus. Each spoon has a bas-relief sculpture, original design created by Rodney Winfield. Each spoon has a portion of the Apostles Creed engraved in the bowl.

This set was certified in 1973. The case with covers open acts as a standing display. Or the wooden frame can be hung when removed from case. The case is 16.5 xs 25.5 when open; 11.5 when closed.

Wooden frame is 16.5 xs 11. You get the spoons, case & frame only. The case has a bit of wear from storage; spoons can be cleaned / polished. You'll get exactly what you see in photos, so please look closely, I consider pictures to be part of the description.

I have this listed locally & on other sites as well. Some friends & I were asked to help an older man a U. Navy veteran of WWII & Korea move on short notice. He had to be out of his home & into his new apartment in 2 days. He'd been taken advantage of by a person who had convinced him to get a legal (but, to me, unethical) reverse mortgage on his paid off house. He has the beginnings of dementia. His wife passed away several years ago. His family tried helping him financially to keep his home, but due to the virus, layoffs, etc. They couldn't keep up with payments. A wonderful group of military supporters in our town stepped in, & organized the move & clear out.
